About the Perth Surgery

Fair City Veterinary Group is a well-known practice, dating from the 1920’s, based in the building at 32 York Place. It is the longest established practice in Perth and we are pleased to have provided animal healthcare services to generations of local clients and their companions and livestock. Our branch surgeries in Auchterarder and Scone are more recent establishments which operate for the convenience of our clients around these localities.

We are a Tier 2 practice in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons accreditation scheme, offering a full general practice service for large and small animals.

The surgery provides a total veterinary care and treatment facility, including surgery, hospitalization, radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, microchip implantation, as well as dental services and laboratory testing.

We are a veterinary nurse training practice.

Opening hours

The Perth surgery is open from 8.30am till 7.00pm Monday to Friday and from 8.30am till 11.30am on Saturday. We endeavour to see you on the day you call to book your appointment or at your later convenience.

Consultation Times

We use an appointment system to ensure you have adequate time to discuss your pet’s healthcare needs and treatment plans with the veterinary surgeon and to keep your waiting time to an absolute minimum.

Perth
2pm until 7pm Monday to Friday
10.30am until 11.30 Saturday am

Auchterarder
3pm until 4pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday
5pm until 6pm Tuesday and Thursday
9am until 10am Saturday

Scone
1pm until 1.30pm Monday to Friday
5pm until 6pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Please, if you are unable to keep your appointment, we appreciate a telephone call to cancel and re-schedule and to allow us to reallocate your time to another client.

Out of hours Emergencies

We operate a 24 hour, 7 day a week, year round emergency service. If you require urgent veterinary attention between 7.00pm and 8.30am, or at week-ends, please phone the surgery on 01738 623210 and you will be re-directed to the on-duty veterinary surgeon.

Advice

We are always available to discuss your pet’s health matters, whether it is illness, routine care or dietary needs. Please telephone and ask to speak to a veterinary surgeon or nurse.
